(HUNTINGTON, NY) May 8, 2012. Blu Chip Marketing is excited to announce the next big networking event, “Long Island’s Mega Networking Conference” for May 14th at The Paramount in Huntington, starting at 7 pm. The night will feature nationally renowned speaker, Kevin McCrudden, President of Motivate America, Inc. and Founder of National Motivation & Inspiration Day.

Mr. McCrudden is the only "motivational and leadership speaker" in America to ever have a day of recognition passed by The United States Congress. He worked with former Long Island Congressman Felix Grucci from Long Island to have H.Res. 308 passed by Congress after the tragic events of 9-11-01.

McCrudden is also author of "U ~ Who Are U?”, where he introduces the most significant addition to "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" in 60 years.  Maslow’s work is considered by many as the leading research into human behavior and motivation.  All registered attendees of the Mega Networking Event will get a free digital copy of Mr. McCrudden’s book.

Karin Caro, CEO of Blu Chip Marketing, created the event with The Paramount to focus on connecting business professionals and companies with the resources they need to expand and grow.  Caro and her company share a passion of connecting people and speaking about business networking. Their monthly DO TANKS presentations focus on building relationships with prospective and current clients. The events have already gained a high level of interest among small business community across Long Island.

The goal for the Mega Networking Conference is to bring people together to discover opportunities. Caro believes that now more than ever small businesses must focus on developing and implementing effective marketing systems.  Most small business owners have struggled in the past with various aspects of business, simply because their skills and contacts were limited.

This past Motivation Day, January 2nd,  McCrudden was included in the “What is Success?” CD Set with international speaking luminaries, such as Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Dave Canfield and Bob Proctor.  He will conduct a portion of his program, “SUCCESS TRAINING” and discuss preparing and managing success.   McCrudden also has 2 new releases hitting stores and itunes in early June, “The Commencement,” and “The Extraordinary Man.”  

McCrudden stated, “this has been a break out year for me in many ways.  To be included in projects with legendary speakers like Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Brian Tracy and Dave Canfield is really overwhelming.  And now to have an event right here at home is really exciting.  Kind of like a homecoming, he concluded.  McCrudden grew up in neighboring Kings Park and Centereach, went to St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip and now resides in Smithtown.
