Thurlow accepts internship at The Lioness Group

May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- The Lioness Group is pleased to welcome new intern Emily Thurlow. With a background in journalism, Thurlow will primarily work with the editorial team of Lioness, the online magazine for female entrepreneurs published monthly by The Lioness Group.

Thurlow graduated Magna Cum Laude from Worcester State College in 2008. Before becoming a staff writer at Turley Publications, she did freelance writing with Turley’s the Town Common, serving areas such as North Brookfield, Warren and New Braintree in Massachusetts.

She is a past scholarship recipient of the Barbara Pillon Poetry Content, a participant in the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and the recipient of two first place awards from the New England Newspaper and Press Association. Her previous internship experience includes Voice of America in 2007.

The first online magazine of its kind, Lioness is geared toward female entrepreneurs. Its mission is to elevate, educate and support female professionals.
