UApresents Adds Snell & Wilmer Attorney Stephen Young to Advisory Board

April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Tucson attorney Stephen J. Young has joined the UApresents advisory board. UApresents is a department of the University of Arizona and the campus host for international performing arts. The advisory board is an active group of community members that serves as an essential resource in all aspects of promoting community engagement and fundraising.

The mission of UApresents is to educate, enlighten and inspire by bringing performing arts and artists together with the diverse communities of Southern Arizona. For nearly a decade, the Tucson office of Snell & Wilmer has been the presenting sponsor for UApresents’ opening night. UApresents, in its current incarnation, has served Southern Arizona for 18 years. Previously, the organization was known as the Office of Cultural Affairs and worked in a very similar capacity to its operations today.

Young's practice is concentrated in real estate finance matters. He has represented banks and insurance companies for over 15 years in connection with financing the construction, acquisition and permanent financing of real estate and providing secured and unsecured lines of credit to a variety of businesses. Young also has over a decade of experience as an investment banker, adding to his ability to understand and respond to the needs of borrowers as well as lenders. Young earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, his M.B.A. from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated magna cum laude.
