ArtisTech Media Signs Producer and Vocalist -- DJ Robb H

April 10, 2012 - PRLog -- ArtisTech Media is pleased to announce its partnership with producer and vocalist DJ Robb H, and is releasing his album Transmission as a TuneTrack-LP today. Transmission is a hypnotic electro-house album that was played live and edited for release.  

“I worked on Transmission for about six months,” Robb shared.  “I pictured myself floating through space, discovering new worlds.  I like evoking easy and calm feelings with my music.”    

The tracks on Transmission seamlessly weave with a thumping groove and feature DJ Robb H’s entrancing vocals throughout. DJ Robb H was discovered by ArtisTech Media on the remix site ccMixter.org.  

“I first enjoyed DJ Robb H’s expansive talent at ccMixter,” remarked Emily Richards, CEO of ArtisTech Media. “He has been an active member of the ccMixter community since 2009.  Transmission is a wonderful example of his magnetic vocals and skillfully produced electro house mixes.”

ArtisTech Media, the company that operates ccMixter.org, is creating partnerships with artists, signing non-exclusive contracts, and releasing site content under Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons licenses, thereby allowing listeners to share the gift of music – without being criminalized. Creative Commons licenses give musicians freedom to collaborate with other artists, and gives fans the opportunity to interact with the music.

DJ Robb H creates an extremely diverse variety of music.  As a solo artist he is known as Magic Moon (breaks, house, hip hop, rap, pop, electro, techno), 5 Screws (dubstep, grime, crunk), Rubber Babies (heavy metal, rock), and RH Beat Productions (hip hop, rnb, rap).  In 2011, he joined his brother in the creation of the trip hop group Honeyfly.  They also work as a music production team known as Platinum Beats.  He is an independent DJ for rappers and creates loop packs for other producers.
