Comedy Showcase specializes in bringing the most acclaimed and highest profile acts from the UK comedy circuit to Chelmsford. Phil Kay first hit the headlines when he won So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1989.He was nominated for the Perrier Award in 1993 and went on to win the award for Best Stand Up at the British Comedy Awards in 1994.Kay has recently appeared as a panelist on the BBC show QI and the stand up act on Russell Howard's Good News on BBC3.
