Computech add major new features and a re-styled user interface to their best-selling BusinessMan CRM & ERP software – The most complete business management solution for the Apple Macintosh & Windows platforms.

Saltash, Cornwall, UK – March 23rd 2012 – Business Software Developer Computech IT Services Ltd have launched a new version of their best-selling BusinessMan software for the Windows and Mac OSX platform.

The BusinessMan Complete Business Management System has been developed in-house utilising the knowledge gained from more than 19 years of developing business solutions. “When we first released BusinessMan, we could not have imagined the overwhelming response, with customers spread around the globe, from the Alaska to Mexico and Australasia to Europe. “We continue to listen to our customers and have added more new features and enhancements, to ensure it secures its place as the best value for money solution available.” says Garry Thompson, Managing Director of Computech.

BusinessMan Enterprise allows companies to manage all aspects of their business from prospect first contact to invoice.

It is a comprehensive, modular, ERP system with powerful CRM capabilities, quotations and invoicing modules, suppliers and stock management, BOM (bill of materials), infinite levels of stock categories and subcategories, multi-currency estimating, sales order processing and purchase, order processing, a fully integrated email client and also a fully featured and integrated drag-and-drop resource scheduler. An “Opportunities” module is included with BusinessMan Enterprise (as standard) which allows you to manage your sales processes to prospective and existing customers.

Other new features included in BusinessMan Enterprise Version 5 include:

•   Supplier / Vendor management with automatic inventory replenishment

•   web portal framework option, which includes access for staff to enter time sheets, view schedules and tasks, view jobs, view inventory and contacts.
•   “FileMaker Go” access to subsets of data within the system
•   Contract Management, Support Desk and Test and Inspect module options are also available.
•   Optional warehouse and supply chain management
•   Integration with QuickBooks and the Sage range of accounting products (other packages on request)

Existing features have been enhanced with custom grouping for all the resource scheduling or planning activities. Timeline views have been added to the Scheduler and more reporting features for the sales and financials “Dashboards” allowing a quick look view for outstanding deliveries, quotations, sales to date, sales snapshot figures, sales graph quick view, purchase order status, goods awaiting despatch. Each snapshot is contained in an easy to read view within the specific modules and can be drilled down to get to specific information and searched at a group or individual sales person level.

Unlimited Jobs or work orders can be generated from sales orders and scheduled for time management. Time sheets, purchase orders and other costs are recorded against the job and the customer order to get accurate costs for each sale.

Comprehensive security and auditing prevent the accidental modification of data and full traceability of modifications and user actions.

Multi-currency estimating, sales order processing and purchase order processing is now evident in addition to document management and human resource management modules. Sales and purchase ledgers have been added to allow integration into popular accounting systems such as MoneyWorks, Sage, Quick Books and other open accounts systems.

In addition, Computech offer complete customisation of BusinessMan to suit individual business needs, plus other software services such as web applications, integration and now with the release of ‘FileMaker Go’ for the iPhone and iPad   additional mobility is now possible for the BusinessMan product.
