Black Teas in the Style of Keemun Produced in Different Regions of China and Taiwan
Black teas in the style of Keemun, a black tea named for Qimen county in China's Anhui province, are now produced outside of Anhui province, including in Hubei and Jiangxi provinces, and in Taiwan. RateTea separates these on their tea rating website.

These teas, while they share certain characteristics in common with Keemun, have certain distinct characteristics of flavor and aroma, owing to the influence of differing climate and geography on the finished quality of the tea.
Style vs. region: avoiding ontological debates and claims of authenticity:
RateTea, an online community for rating and reviewing teas, in order to avoid an ontological debate about the authenticity of these and other teas produced in the style of one type of tea, but in a different region, has separated out the notion of style from the region in which a tea has been produced. This clearly identifies which teas are produced in the original region and which are not, while also identifying which teas are made to emulate or exemplify a particular style of tea.
Tea companies selling teas in the style of Keemun but from outside Anhui province include Rishi tea, Upton Tea Imports, and auraTeas.
