Technology is most significant key to economic development

Dr Chris Imafidon, intellectual icon who has previously mentored Fabrice Muamba, premier league football star, and Oxford University graduates said that ICT is the most important factor in economic development, and opened with a prayer for Muamba.

March 20, 2012 - PRLog -- LONDON, UK: Intellectual icon and senior academic, Dr Chris Imafidon, who was described by the BBC as one of the “World’s foremost scholars on leveraging informatics for exceptional achievement” has stressed the importance of information technology in boosting any economy. This was disclosed at an International conference on the economies of Non-Oil states in London today (20th March 2012). Dr Imafidon, who consults for heads of government said 'Innovative use of Technology is the single most significant key to economic development.

Dr Imafidon prayed for his former student and mentee premiership star Fabrice Muamba, who recent suffered a cardiac arrest  at the beginning of the talk. He later presented a detailed analysis of how Bangalore in India exploited technology is revolutionising economic activities of its citizens and residents. Other speakers and dignitaries at the prestigious conference included  Rt Honourable Vince Cable, MP,  Baroness Chalker, London Mayor, Boris Johnson, Streatham, Shadow Secretary of state for Business, Honourable  Chuka Umunna,  and His Excellency, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tarfida. Dr Imafidon, who is a board member of the Excellence in Education programme  - who partners with various governments and supports the academic achievement of students from inner-city areas - demonstrated the revolutionary impact of technology on learning and economy.
