Meet the Final Four Winners on Episode 5 of “The Balancing Act’s” Makeover Series on Lifetime Television

Viewers taken into homes of leading ladies and meet their families on the
‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’ Series

(Pompano Beach, FL- March 19, 2012)  After the highly anticipated announcement of the final four contest winners in last week’s episode of  ‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’, the emotion-packed journey continues as the Health and Wellness Makeover Ladies allow cameras into their homes for a glimpse of their day to day lives, and the families who are a part of it. The series, which follows the women’s journey on their road to a healthier lifestyle, continues with Episode 5 airing on March 26th on the award-winning morning show “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime television.

Although coming from diverse backgrounds and experiencing different current life situations, the similar goals of losing weight and attaining wellness is creating strong bonds among the four women.  As viewers are taken along into each of their home environments, the women and their families share an in-depth look at the struggles faced throughout the years to the challenges and excitement ahead.  

Viewers will first meet Melissa Jablonski, 39, originally from Woodridge, NY who is a school teacher for special needs children. With an active 13 year old daughter, this single mom’s very hectic schedule prevents her from putting herself first. Melissa hopes to inspire her daughter and others by making a difference in their lives.

Rosa Gordon, 51, who hails from Columbus, OH, worked in banking before becoming an ardent advocate for adopted and foster children. She and her husband Jose are raising two biological children and three foster children, and Rosa wants to improve her overall health to be there for them in the years to come.

Christine Deslile, 39, whose hometown is Madawaska, ME is a bride-to-be, and after working as an OB scrub nurse is currently an at-home mom raising her family of two daughters and a son. Christine wants to be able to keep up with her kids without getting out of breath -- and walk down the aisle in style.

Antonia Jenaé Woods, a 38 year old back-up singer for Joss Stone, is currently separated. The    mom of 2 boys, she takes care of her 6 year old who is diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome and another son, 3 years.  Antonia, living in Lauderdale Lakes, FL hopes to regain her confidence and move forward in her singing career.

“While each of these women has struggled with weight issues for many years in the past, they are committed to moving forward with exploring their goals, learning to formulate an individual weight and fitness plan, and getting results. Our goal is to empower these women and our viewers at home with the knowledge and expert advice they need,” says Dr. Tom Deters, Managing Director of ‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’ Series.  

Stay tuned next week as the leading ladies kick off their six month journey at the world famous Premiere Fitness Camp at La Costa Resort and Spa in San Diego, CA, where they will undergo a complete physical evaluation by camp experts, and a medical assessment performed at the University of San Diego followed by a week-long boot camp.
