Kineti-Go's Magnetic Airless Hockey Poised to Cross Sticks with the Players in the Game Indudustry

March 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Kineti-Go Games, a table game design and manufacturing company, today announced the release of its two sided Magnetic Airless Hockey/ Magnetic Shuffleboard game table. The table is a flip top game featuring one game on each side. The game can be flipped over by removing the four stabilizing pins located in each corner, and giving one end of the table a gentle push. Kineti-Go Magnetic Airless Hockey is a fast-paced game designed in the spirit of air hockey. But unlike air hockey, there is no electricity required and no motor to burn out. Like all of Kineti-Go Games’ offerings, there is a magnetic twist that you won’t find anywhere else. While players volley the puck back and forth, the puck does not make contact with the paddle. Kineti-Go’s patented opposing magnetic technology makes such play possible.
Kineti-Go Magnetic Shuffleboard is a shuffleboard style game in which players use a magnetic shooter to launch their magnetic pucks down the 2’ x 4’ wooden board. Each player releases their “pucks” (wood-encased magnets) from the horse-shoe shaped “shooter,” causing the shooter to repel the puck down the board toward the scoring areas. Players control the strength of their shot by how far they pull the puck into the slot and how quickly they release it. Players jockey for placement in the highest of Kineti-Go’s three point zones while also strategically placing their pucks to prevent their opponent from scoring. The pucks all repel each other so there is never contact between the pieces. There are also magnets placed in the sidewalls that enable players to do great bank shots with a magnetic push!
