Global Release for Acclaimed Thriller

Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- An award winning movie made by a young film maker on a low budget but which attracted actors

from Hollywood blockbusters such as Braveheart and Gangs of New York is to go on general

release........



Minds of Glass is a taught thriller set in and around the haunting backdrop of the Scottish

Highlands. It tells the story of a young film maker trying to escape a manipulative woman from his

past at his remote Island retreat. The film, which won the Gold Ebenezer Award at the 39th

Festival of  Nations in Austria last year, was made by up and coming BAFTA Nominated director Ryan Hendrick and

produced with Ewan Macfarlane and Robert McGroary.



The movie, which was shot on location in Tarbert on Loch  Fyne, at St Peters Seminary Cardross,

Scotus College in Bearsden and Rhu Marina near Helensburgh for less than £3,000 also features a

musical soundtrack by Michael Hines director/producer of the hit BBC sitcom Still Game.



Stars include, Bill Murdoch, who is best know for roles in Gangs of New York, Braveheart,

Still Game, Taggart, The Wicker Tree and A Shot at Glory, along with Chris Summers star

of the Scottish Superhero movie Night is Day, and Natalie Clark from David Griffith’s Timelock

and recent sell out STG production of The Crucible.
