The First Mobile Application That Displays Laser Meter Data On Android Devices

BFi OPTiLAS, pan-European partner of Ophir, is proud to announce 2 new products and capabilities.
Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- The Quasar App connects to Ophir's Quasar device via Bluetooth. Once connected, the App displays power readings from the laser measurement sensor that is connected to the Quasar device within a range of 10 meters. With the Quasar App, users can select the wavelength and then just watch the data come in and be displayed on your Android phone.

BFi OPTiLAS also introduces the StarLink Series of laser measurement sensors. StarLink is a collection of the most popular power/energy sensors bundled with Juno, a USB-based PC interface, and StarLab laser measurement software. Together, the Ophir sensor, Juno USB interface, and StarLab software form a meterless laser measurement system that is flexible, portable, and affordable.
The StarLink Series includes the most popular of Ophir's high performance laser sensors, from the high damage threshold Pyro-C, to the high sensitivity, multifunction power/energy/position sensor, BeamTrack 3A-QUAD. The StarLink Series, containing the Juno, provides superior performance, including the ability to measure down to picowatts with photodiode sensors, and 10KHz repetition rates with pyroelectric sensors.
