Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Widen Enterprises, a Madison, Wisconsin-based digital asset management software and premedia services company, has brought a dozen new names into its fast-growing list of Software-as-a-Service DAM customer brands.

“We had a record year here at Widen,” said Jake Athey, Widen’s Marketing Manager. “More than anything, this is exciting because it means we have that much more opportunity to do what we’ve always done best: help great brands to grow more effectively by focusing more of their energy on their strengths.”

With these 12 brands, Widen is showing not only that its systems are nimble enough to meet the marketing asset management needs of a broad spectrum of  organizations, but also that the value of DAM software is becoming more widely recognized in most every industry.

“As a B2B business that is increasing efforts in the digital space, we have a need to share our digital assets with our distributor base of over 4,000 customers,” said Leslie Hunt, creative services manager at VF Imagewear. “We liked the ease with which you can set up new users, and the interface is extremely intuitive.”

New Widen clients include:

CODA Automotive – A revolutionary designer and manufacturer of electric vehicles and lithium-ion battery systems, CODA is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of ecologically friendly transportation.

Hanley Wood Marketing – Since 1976, the agency has focused exclusively on the North American residential and commercial construction industry. Through its Business Media, Exhibitions, Market Intelligence and Marketing divisions, Hanley Wood supports builders’ information needs.

NXP Semiconductors – NXP Semiconductors provides high performance mixed signal and standard product solutions that are used in a wide range of automotive, identification, wireless infrastructure, lighting, industrial, mobile, consumer and computing applications. A global semiconductor company with operations in more than 25 countries, NXP posted revenue of $4.4 billion in 2010.

"CODA chose Widen as a partner because it offers excellent customer service, value and an intuitive digital asset management solution that is implemented with ease," said Thomas Hausch, CODA’s senior vice president of sales, marketing and after sales.

Widen DAM will also be adopted by a nonprofit faith-based radio network with radio signals in 44 U.S. states; a global leader in business consulting; a multinational health care company with pharmaceutical and diagnostics divisions; a business service provider that support medical practices in—among other things—software and communications; a leading manufacturer of exterior building products; and a professional football team.

“Widen offers an out-of-the-box solution for NXP’s DAM activities, with modules that are ready to use. The solution offered the best match to our criteria, which touched on our ‘must-have’ requirements; out-of-the-box functionality; cost efficiency and implementation time,” said Tim Nelissen of NXP Semiconductors.

The Media Collective®, a Widen hosted DAM system, is now in version 5.7 and supports creative and marketing workflows for over 175 diverse customers. The Media Collective’s scalability allows organizations of all sizes to support their user groups with a centralized digital media library and marketing resources for improved performance. Version 6.0 is slated for release in the first quarter of 2012, and will include social media publishing features as well as enhancements in search, monitoring and organization features.
