The certification is the most comprehensive, current credential incorporating the latest information on healthcare reform and other group benefits issues. Candidates must complete six college-level courses on healthcare and health insurance, and they possess three years of full-time, relevant business experience. The designation requires 30 hours of continuing education every two years. Quinn holds several other professional certifications, including Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU), Registered Health Underwriter® (RHU) and Registered Employees Benefit Consultant (REBC).
