Marcus Hook Borough Will Be Replacing Municipal Building, Parking Lot and Pier Lighting

Jan. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Marcus Hook, PA (January 10, 2012) – Stouch Lighting released today that it has been chosen by  Marcus Hook Borough, to replace existing interior and exterior lighting fixtures with new LED lights, and OptaLume technology. These new fixtures, provided by Stouch Lighting, will replace current lighting in the Borough’s Municipal Building, river pier and parking lot.

OptaLume is a highly reflective substrate which retrofits existing recessed fluorescent fixtures without sacrificing the current lighting quality.  Upon completion, the new LED and OptaLume light fixtures will enhance the quality of light and create energy savings ranging from 50% to 93% for Marcus Hook Borough.
Funding was possible for Marcus Hook through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block grant. (EECBG) This was awarded to the county through the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA). President Obama signed the ARRA into law on February 17, 2009. This act is an extraordinary response to promote economic recovery and growth.
