Stouch Lighting Selected to Install Upgraded Lighting System At Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission I-78 Maintenance Facility

Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Aston, PA  (December 7, 2011) - Stouch Lighting announced today that it has been chosen by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) to supply and install new LED and OptaLume lighting fixtures at the bistate transportation agency’s 1-78 Maintenance Facility in Williams Township, PA.
The DRJTBC owns and operates 20 bridges connecting the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey  across the Delaware River.  Seven of the agency’s bridges have tolls and the remainder are non-toll spans.
The Commission also owns and maintains roughly 6.5 miles of I-78 between the two states.  The Commission’s I-78 Toll Bridge is one of the nation’s busiest and most heavily traveled truck crossings, handling more than 2 million westbound trucks each year..The agency’s I-78 Maintenance Facility is integral in ensuring the safe and efficient travel of the commerce and commuters moving along I-78 between the two states.
Stouch Lighting will be replacing interior and exterior fixtures at the DRJTBC’s I-78 Maintenance Facility to a more energy-efficient light source. The new LED and OptaLume light fixtures create up to 91 percent energy savings and eliminate maintenance costs by 100 percent as well as enhance the quality of light.
