WordPress SMS Plugin WordPress Text Message 2.06 Released

Jan. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- The SMS plugin "WordPress Text Message" has officially released version 2.06 today, allowing (for the first time) international SMS updates from WP websites.  WordPress Text Message is a free plugin for WordPress that provides and signup form for visitors to fill out with cell phone number and carrier.  The website owner, in turn, sends out SMS text message updates to the subscriber list from wp-admin (manually), or (if the option is chosen) every time a new post is updated, or specific pages are updated.

By default the plugin support U.S. based cell phone carriers.  Version 2.06 now adds a "Carrier" sub-menu on the plugin options page allowing (for the first time) anyone in the world to use the plugin regardless of geolocation.  With the ability to add, edit, or remove cell carriers from the plugin settings screen - anyone in any country can now install and use the plugin for SMS website updates.
