Virya Technologies launch #24daysofgiving through December - giving back to the world

Dec. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Giving back to the community is a core part of Virya Technologies' business model, and at Christmas they have decided to use the excitement of opening new doors on the traditional advent calendar as an opportunity to challenge other businesses and individuals to find ways that they can give back to the community.

Director Ruth Cheesley explains:
"We all can find the Christmas period a bit overwhelming, what with parties, shopping for gifts, preparing for the holiday season and everything else that comes with it!  What we are hoping to do over the course of the month is to challenge people to stop for a moment and think about what they can do to give back to the community, themselves, their friends and family, and the world as a whole through our 24 days of giving."

The 24 days of giving sees a beautiful Christmas tree advent calendar with 24 doors, each one becoming active on the corresponding day with a Christmas figure behind the 'door'.  This then links through to a page which has a quote of the day, challenge of the day, and charity of the day.

Also each day there will be a hidden snoozing Santa somewhere on the website, with a prize for the first person to spot him and post on the page for that day.
