By: Ruth Cheesley Virya Technologies have adopted working practices such as moving our systems to eco-friendly cloud-based systems and encouraging the use of cycling and public transport amongst our staff, in an effort to minimise our impact on the environment and offset any necessary carbon cost. We have also engrained this commitment in our staff training, ensuring that all electrical equipment is turned off when not in use and reporting back each month on our energy useage. The Carbon Charter noted in particular: In the case of Virya Technologies, the Panel was particularly impressed by the strength of the overall commitment evidenced in the policy, and the integration of environmental improvements into all areas of work with staff and clients.
