OKC's Best Kept Secret In Senior Living Slated For Continued Growth

Dec. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Emerald Square Senior Living is a senior community on the grow. For the past several years, the leadership team has built the community from a struggling assisted living center to a thriving senior community offering both independent and assisted living options. Rhonda Jackson, RN, Stacy Gilchrist, Community Relations Director and Activity Director, Kim Shultz have all watched the transformation. Gilchrist says that two years ago, the community had only about two dozen residents, and was just getting along. Today, the community has grown to a thriving sixty members with a caring staff working to maintain the excellent the reputation for care, value and fellowship that has been developed during the team's tenure. The goal two years ago was to find a new owner that would continue to develop and grow the community.

In September, Emerald Square joined the family of Meridian Senior Living and Ironpoint Partners. Meridian Senior Living owns and operates eighty properties across the United States, serving more than 5,000 residents.  Meridian’s dedicated team of employees are committed to outstanding services for residents and personal attention at every level.

The team at Emerald Square welcomed new Director, Sara Lassiter in October. Sara comes to the community with seven years experience in senior living, and is excited to continue the growth Emerald Square has seen recently with the added support of new owners and operators. Sara is looking forward to meeting more members of the immediate area at the community's Open House. "All of the staff members are excited to welcome our old friends to our continuing 'Holiday Open House' tradition" according to Ms. Gilchrist.
