Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Churchtown House is the personification of luxurious, self-catering holiday accommodation.  Located in the heart of County Kerry, in the village of Beaufort, the property, which has just been completely re-furbished to a very high specification, overlooks the Macgillycuddy Reeks and is just a stone’s throw from the Killarney National Park.

It is located with the borders of Beaufort Golf Course and there are another five internationally renowned golf courses within an hour’s drive.  

The house – which comfortably sleeps 12 people in 6 ensuite bedrooms – was built in 1760 by Sir Roland Blennerhassett; it was bought by the Magill family in 1860 and has been in their ownership ever since.

The spacious kitchen is equipped with both a traditional Aga but also has a modern halogen hob and electric oven, two dishwashers and an icemaker.  

The extensive south terrace, which incorporates the original well to the house, is accessed via the kitchen garden door, where extensive mountain views can be appreciated whilst dining alfresco.

There are two reception rooms, dining room, games-room (with snooker table) and a home entertainment room with 60 inch TV and surround sound.

All six bedrooms (there are also two additional pull out beds) have free-view TV and Sky channels are available in the morning room and entertainment room.  

Wireless Internet is available throughout the house for those who need to keep in touch with the office.    

There are glorious, isolated beaches close by, and the towns of Killarney, Killorglin, Kenmare, Tralee and Dingle are also within easy reach, with their wide choice of traditional Irish pubs and restaurants.

Rental of Churchtown House is from €3500 for a week (or €291per person when occupied by 12 people).
