Nov. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Vogue Italia’s recent editorial, called “Mechanical Dolls”, showcases a theatrical figurine concept, shot by fashion photographer Tim Walker.

The editorial was captured by photographer Tim Walker, the models Audrey Marnay and Kirsi Pyrhonen posing in marionette style make-up and dressed from Alberta Ferretti, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney and Kenzo’s fall collection, bring this fairytale to life.

Tim Walker is a British fashion photographer. His photographs have appeared in Vogue, month by month, for over a decade. Extravagant staging and romantic motifs characterise his style. At the age of 25, he shot his first fashion story for Vogue, and has photographed for the British, Italian, and American editions ever since.

Audrey Marnay is a French model and actress. She began modeling at the age of fifteen and has since appeared on magazine covers such as Vogue and Elle, and in advertisements from Versace to Calvin Klein. She has been photographed by photographers like Steven Meisel, Irving Penn, Herb Ritts, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Paolo Roversi and Peter Lindbergh

Kirsi Pyrhonen was born in Espoo, Finland. She was one of the Prada’s new faces  from last season who landed in Paris on a extremely restricted schedule. Her very unique features have earned her the attention of some of the most vital photographers and designers on the editorial and campaign market.
