Oct. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- You'll have to wait about four months to try Titleist's new 712 Series irons, but pros at the AT&T National are getting their first chance to hit the new AP1, AP2, CB and MB irons this week. The release date will be November, will the 712 irons be available to order directly from the factory sooner than that or will we have to wait until they are released to put in our orders? I have all my specs and money ready to go and I'm just waiting for someone to let me know when i can pull the trigger. For all the Titleist loyalist out there…you have most likely been looking forward to seeing pics for quite some time. Below we have sneak-peek for you of the new Titleist 712 Iron Series. The new line-up includes the following:

Titleist AP2 712 Irons

Titleist has always been about tradition and seems to always be going after the better player. The new AP2 712 looks pretty decent. Titleist has long used “700’’ numbers for irons for a long time. It uses 900 num¬bers for metal woods. The “7” stands for irons, while the “12” stands for the new model year, 2012. Acushnet says the feedback it receives during this validation process influences the design and specifications of the Titleist products available in golf shops around the world. No word yet on when the AP2 712 irons is avail¬able at retail.

The new AP2 irons deliver an industry leading combination of performance, looks and feel. They feature our most advanced multi-material designs which deliver superior distance control through increased moment-of-inertia (MOI) which also provides outstanding solid feel(Cheap golf clubs). In addition we have made appearance improvements to both sets. The Titleist AP2 712 Irons , which are designed for low handicappers, Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia (MOI) by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads. The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design.

Titleist AP1 712 Irons

Building upon the high technology design and resounding success of the original AP irons, Titleist AP1 712 Irons introduces the new high performance AP1 irons for avid golfers. The Titleist AP1 is multi-material, dual cavity irons that take the design mission of "Advanced Performance You Can Feel" to new heights.

The concept for the original Advanced Performance irons arose as a result of research that indicated serious golfers want performance with great feel, not performance at the expense of feel(Cheap Golf Drivers). The Titleist R&D team’s advanced research group has been conducting extensive sound and vibration analysis aimed at reducing the harsh lower frequency vibration that causes poor feel in irons. This research led to combining several technologies and materials in the back cavity of the new AP irons resulting in a new Tuned Feel System to take feel to a new level.

Titleist MB 712 Irons

Titleist introduces the new Titleist MB 712 irons featuring improved feel and looks. The MB is classic muscle back forged irons that deliver the looks, feel and performance highly-skilled players demand.
