| ![]() Nonprofits to get Public Relations Advice on “PR Pro Bono Day”The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) will host its annual PR Pro Bono Day on September 30, 2011 to help nonprofit organizations learn how to enlist the power of publicity to promote programs and services
By: Florida Public Relations Association Some of the area’s most distinguished public relations professionals will provide guidance and advice at the free half-day seminar that begins at 12:30 p.m. at the Lee County Port Authority Airport Training Facility located at 15924 Air Cargo Lane in Fort Myers, FL 33913. Pro Bono Day serves as the chapter's annual service project. Topics discussed in the four-hour mini-conference will include public relations basics, social media, fundraising, media relations, and board relations. Attendees are encouraged to bring samples of their work for feedback from FPRA’s professionals.
