Follow on Google News | Setting The House In Divine Order Ministries Launches Capital Campaign DrivePartners with BBVA Compass Bank "COMPASS FOR YOUR CAUSE" as part of its Fund Raising Efforts, Encourages Public To Continue To Support Select Christian Religious Organizations and Ministries.
By: STHIDO Ministries Unlike many larger religious and charitable organizations, STHIDOM does not have private benefactors, corporate sponsors, grants or an endowment fund to aid in meeting the needs of the people. Our hope in the future is that we will receive some financial support from these types of entities. Any money received is given by the wonderful people (general public) who believe in the work that the ministry does from a grassroots level. Lampkin states, "currently many people are distrustful in giving to religious organizations such as churches and ministries due to error, lack of knowledge, scandal, greed, deceptive business and immoral practices that have been exposed publicly. This makes people hesitant and skeptical to give because their radar is up and it should be to ensure that their donations are used for the causes stated as it relates to helping others. The economy has impacted many in being unable to give like they desire and others have gotten themselves into excessive amounts of debt which in many cases could have been prevented and are unable to give. However God honors those that give from their hearts regardless of if they have a little or lot. STHIDOM is challenging all Christan religious organizations who are not being good stewards and accountable to God and the people that give to them to line up now and correct any financial mismanagement in order to bring back honor to the kingdom of Jesus Christ." "Next people should pray and allow the Holy Spirit to guide them on who and how much to give ." Although there are groups and persons that do not walk in integrity, there are many more that do what is righteous in the eyes of God and man as it relates to money received." She also warns, "the people should be selective in who they (sow) donate to, but support entities that are serving the people and making a positive impact. If the pastor has a plush mansion, exquisite car and the church along with the pastor is not going out into the community to feed the poor, visiting the sick, those incarcerated, and building up the people, I would suggest you asses if you should be writing a check?" "There must be outreach outside of the four walls or it is not a church, but only a building with people sitting inside of it with no impact who do not share the gospel of Jesus Christ." STHIDOM has no (zero) outstanding debts or liabilities, simply we do not owe anyone anything, but to love them; Romans 13:8 and will always operate the ministry in the black and not the red. However we are in great need of funds to continue with our work. As of today we can not go any further in our service unless there are residual and operating funds in place to sustain the ministry. Many people have the perception that we have lots of money based on the quality of services we provide in the spirits of excellence, care and love unto God and the people. We want to clarify this is not the case. Simply God blesses our work as we serve and we give him all the glory. He has equipped by his spirit and with the help of people who have found favor with the ministry. Income received for the ministry not only covers expenses for various programs, events & activities, however we try our best to share what little we have if any to give to select (para) organizations that we know will do the right by any donation we give. Other expenses include administrative costs such as postage, phone line, bank fees, fuel costs for ground travel, web hosting services, graphic work, printing, legal & financial council only as needed, supplies PO Box Rental, storage, speakers love offerings or required fees (varies) to name a few. The Ministry Founder & Director, Board, Advisory Council, and volunteers do not receive a salary or payment in any amount. We attempt to do as much we can on our own or if persons donate their time or services to the organization. However there are times where we have to contract and hire external entities. The ministry has a goal and needs to raise $10,000.00 or more by the end of the year. We would like to provide at least (2) or more Holiday Dinners for Senior Citizens and give a needy family a Holiday meal and a few gifts. Some other needs include carrier liability insurance, supplies, legal/financial counsel and video production which can be loaded for the public to watch on the ministry’s "You tube" and PRLOG sites for free. Through your gifts we are able to serve the people with ease and effectively do God’s work. Also STHIDOM has a new program that we have partnered with through our bank; presenting COMPASS FOR YOUR CAUSE; at BBVA Compass Bank. When you open a BBVA Compass Checking Account and mention STHIDOM we will receive $50.00. Your account also comes with a BBVA Compass Visa Check Card when you sign for purchases using the check card we (STHIDOM) will receive a royalty payment equal to (.25%) of your purchase. There is no charge to you personally when you use your bank check card. This may be something for other non-profits in need of funds to consider. We hope you will let BBVA/Compass know STHIDOM referred them to the program. Whereas most banks have benefited from TARP, this financial institution is trying to help non-profits who in return help people which is honorable.
