New Study Highlights the Importance of a Good Mattress

A new research study has been published highlighting how important sleep is for your general health.

In the study all participants went to sleep and as they were entering the REM phase they were woken up. They were then asked to perform simple cognitive tests. They were then allowed to go to sleep again and the process was repeated. This test lasted for three days and the participants found that there was a steep decline in their memory function, cognitive ability and ability to concentrate. They also felt agitated and moody and were unable to complete edition problems that were incredibly simple.

This study highlights the fact that if you are tossing and turning in your sleep and you are unable to enter, and stay in, the REM phase of sleep it is not beneficial for you.
