Air Concept Solutions Offers Additional $50 in Savings to Qualified SCE&G or Berkeley Coop Customers

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Charleston, South Carolina (September 4, 2011) - Air Concept Solutions LLC,  HVAC specialists serving the greater Charleston area announced that it would provide customers upgrading to more energy efficient systems through the SCE & G or Berkeley Coop programs an additional incentive.   Customers approved for either the SCE & G or Berkeley Coop energy improvement programs, will receive an additional $50 off the cost of their equipment or ductwork replacement through Air Concept Solutions, LLC.

"We are very focused on helping our customers' homes be more energy efficient," said Mike Sowder, owner of Air Concept Solutions. "The cost savings that come from more efficient heating and cooling can really add up. We wanted to add an additional reward for our customers to save on top of the SCE&G and Berkeley Coop incentives."

Currently, SCE&G electric customers can receive cash rebates for purchasing and installing ENERGY STAR® qualified central air conditioning systems and heat pumps in their homes. Combined with the federal government's available tax credits for energy-efficient home improvements and lower monthly bills, the savings can be substantial.  

The Berkeley Coop program provides 5% loans up to $15,000 for its customers on energy improvements to existing homes. The program is designed to help customers make efficiency upgrades within a comfortable budget. Customers get a low interest rate and the loan payment is added to their electric bill for ease of payment.  The program is set up with the intent that energy savings should cover the cost of the loan.
