Pageants R Fun Seeks Contestants for 2011 East Coast Beautiful Pageant

Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Laurel, MD – The 2011 East Coast Beautiful Pageant will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at the Drama Learning Center in Columbia, Maryland.   The contest is open to girls between the ages of 3 months to 15 years old.  The pageant, a non-glitz/natural pageant provides girls the chance to win cash prizes as well as compete for the Supreme East Coast Beautiful crown and title.  Contestants compete in one of five divisions based upon their age on the day of the pageant.  The competition divisions are: Baby (3 mos. – 3 years old), Tiny (4 – 6 years old), Little (7 – 9 years old), Preteen (10 – 12 years old) and Junior Miss (13 – 15 years old).  Registration to the pageant is open to girls (and parents) who live, work or attend school in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. The event is a wonderful opportunity to begin a pageant journey or great practice for the more experienced pageant girl.

Pre-registration, before the September 10 deadline, is required for participation.  Registration materials are available on www.pageantsrfun.com.  Each contestant is required to compete in the formal wear category. Contestants may also enter to compete in any one of the five optional categories: Photogenic, Personality, Casual Wear, Spokesperson & Talent. Girls who wish to compete for the title of Supreme East Coast Beautiful must compete in all of the optional categories: Divisional winners, one from each age category, and the Supreme winner will receive a cash prize, crown, sash and gift bag.   There will be one Supreme East Coast Beautiful winner who can be selected, by the panel of judges, from ANY age category.  There will be one overall winner for each of the optional categories.

Contestants and one parent should check-in for the pageant by 12:30 p.m.   Upon check-in, all contestants will receive a “Princess” bag.  Visiting reigning titleholders from all pageant systems are invited to attend the pageant all visiting royalty will be recognized.  Audience admission to the pageant is free, with doors opening for family, friends and supporters at 1:15 p.m.
