910 D 2 Drivers Enable Me to Get the Ball in the Air

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Having owned my 910 D 2 drivers for a long time and only tested several times, but I still had to say it is probably the most solid performing driver I have ever played. Recently, I was hitting the D3 the farthest but the launch angle was only about 10 degrees so I went with the D2 because it was more consistant and forgiving. I wanted the Whiteboard shaft but the RIP shaft was producing better numbers and I couldn't be more satisfied. This shaft is one of the best I’ve played. Easy to work the ball either way or it keeps the spin down. All in all this probably is the best all around driver I have played. I've gained about 20 yards over my Supertri because of the added carry and roll.

Like the two previous releases, the 910 brings yet another first for Titleist. This time it’s the company’s first crack at an adjustable driver. I was extremely impressed by Titleist’s SureFit Tour Technology. Unlike most other adjustable Discount Golf Clubs, the SureFit system allows for loft to be adjusted independently of lie. The idea is that we can now adjust our trajectory without altering the way the ball moves left to right, or right to left, I suppose. Titleist has also created an optional weight kit which allows we golfers to swap out weights in the sole in order to fine tune the swing weight, and adjust the feel with different shafts.

From me to my friends, the consistency of the 910, though much better than we expected, wasn’t quite as high as the last Discount Golf Equipment we tested. What I can tell you about my experience is that I sometimes struggled to get the ball in the area with the ‘Ahina shaft.  This is actually quite remarkable considering that it wasn’t all that long ago that I struggled to keep my launch angle, with any driver, below 15°. Producing an average launch angle of below 8°, it’s clear that as much as I love the feel of the shaft, it’s not the right fit for me. When I was able to http://www.discountgolf4sale.com/Discount-1060-Titleist-9... get the ball in the air, the results were extremely impressive.
