Mumbai, August 22, 2011 - On his return from Singapore, Bharat Joyant brings along Chef Ong Siew Huah and Chef David Tan from Mandarin Oriental, Singapore to introduce culinary delicacies at India Jones, Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai.  The Singapore Food Festival will take place from August 26 to September 5, 2011, in association with Singapore Airlines.
   
Masters of Cantonese cuisine, Malaysian born, Chef Ong and Singaporean Chef Tan will showcase the gourmet repertoire of Singapore at our Pan Asian restaurant.

Journey across Singapore with Rojak; popular Satays; and Otak - Otak, a popular Peranankan delicacy of fragrant banana leaf parcels with spicy mackerel fish mousse. Savour signature Chilli Crabs, wok-fried mud crabs in tomato-chilli sauce accompanied by deep-fried Chinese mantou, created in 1950 by the Singaporean Chef Yam Tian; the national favorite Katong Laksa, bowl of rice noodles with shrimps, fresh cockles, fish cake and chilli in a coconut broth; or the locally popular Mixed Vegetable Curry, simmered in mild coconut milk. Indulge in Hainanese Chicken Rice, a recipe adapted from early Chinese immigrants originally from the Hainan province in southern China; or Singaporean fried noodles, with shredded omelette, beansprouts and vegetable julienne.

Satiate your sweet tooth with Bubor Chacha, a medley of sweet potatoes, yam and tapioca pearls cooked in a sweet coconut milk; or the Chilled cream of mango with sago pearls, pomelo and lime sorbet, along with an array of other desserts.

India Jones presents an exclusive a la carte menu available for lunch from 12.30 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. and dinner from 7.30 p.m. to 11.45 p.m., from August 26 to September 5, 2011.
