The Brass Teapot Filming at Toll Brothers at Four Corners

The Brass Teapot is shooting at the spectacular Harding Country Manor model home in Toll Brothers at Four Corners this week and will be shooting at other Toll Brothers communities in Hopewell Junction next week.

The movie stars: Juno Temple (The Dark Knight Rises, Dirty Girl, Atonement) and Michael Angarano (Ceremony, Gentleman Broncos, Almost Famous ), Alexis Bladel (Gilmore Girls), Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development, Ceder Rapids), and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock).  Directing her first time feature is Music Video artist Raama Mosley (including Five For Fighting's 'Superman'), also known for her extensive commercial  and documentary work.

Based on the comic book series "The Brass Teapot"is about a mid-twenty year old couple who in these difficult economic times, find a mysterious, magical brass teapot which makes them money but at a surprising price. The teapot produced money whenever the owner hurts himself or someone else. After realizing the teapots powers, John and Alice must decide how far they will go to fulfill their dream.This dark comedy is celebrated in the realm of the War of the Roses, and the Witches of Eastwick.

Atlantic Pictures, a New York based production company was extremely excited to start shooting The Brass Teapot in its home state of NY. In scouting a variety of areas and locations, the company came across the Toll Brothers communities.

“The Toll Brothers home was the perfect exemplification of where we wanted our couple, John and Alice (Michael Angarano and Juno Temple) to be living once they had made their fortune. We immediately reached out to Dan Zalinsky and Joseph Mosca and expressed our interest in using the location as one of our major sets. Once an agreement was reached, the film, originally slated to shoot up in the Saugherties/Kingston area moved its entire operation to Fishkill. Working with The Toll Brothers team has been an amazing experience. Atlantic Pictures’ previous film The Art Of Getting By, starring Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts, premiered at the 2011 Sundance film festival and was released this past summer by Fox Searchlight.
