PRLog -- 1-800-Haul-Out team recently volunteered our time and services to helping the International Design Clinic, a non-profit organization concerned with finding creative solutions to alleviating global poverty. Our team of professional drivers volunteered two of our dump trucks to transport and unload 20 tons of concrete for the IDC's latest project, ChainlinkGreen. The project is based in Philadelphia around Bodine High School, and seeks to utilize local student artists and architects in designing and building a park for children using primarily chain-link and rubble. As a junk-removal company, Haul-Out supports the IDC's efforts to transform concrete and construction debris into functional and creative spaces for the community to enjoy. Our team met with the founder of the IDC and his group of student volunteers in an abandoned lot on Tuesday, August 2nd to transport a large portion of the concrete to another site that will soon become a completed park providing shade and shelter to local children. ChainlinkGreen is a part of Design Philadelphia, a mural arts program, and Haul-Out is looking forward to volunteering our services again in order to become a large contributing factor in the execution of this project. Haul-Out would like our customers to know that we support creatively utilizing "junk" and unwanted materials to construct artistic and functional projects in Philadelphia, and will gladly volunteer our services.
