Haul Out inks massive Covanta deal

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. - Sept. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- 1-800-Haul-Out, a full service removal and hauling company in Bala Cynwyd, Pa has signed an agreement to transport over three million pounds of trash to Covanta Energy of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

"1-800-Haul-Out may be tiny compared to Covanta, but our impact on the local community and enviornment can be much larger now thanks to this agreement." Robert Gerenser, co-owner of 1-800-Haul-Out Bucks County said.

Haul Out will continue to sort and seperate salvagable items including appliances, clothing, cardboard, metals and other assorted items. However, items that are now deemed "trash" will be transported to Covanta for inceneration and converted to electricity.

Covanta Energy is one of the world’s largest owners and operators of infrastructure for the conversion of waste-to-energy (known as “energy-from- waste” or “EfW”), as well as other waste disposal and renewable energy production businesses. Covanta operates and/or has ownership positions in over 40 energy-from-waste facilities in located North America, Italy and China.
