Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Ex-Regular Network

Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Justin Fong, Principal Crisis Communication Consultant at CW Fong & Associates, announces the establishment of a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Ex-Regular Network.

On his motivation to establish the Network, Justin explained that “the SAF is probably the largest employer in Singapore with arguably the best training programmes to develop employees as leaders, strategic planners and operational managers.  It is therefore unfortunate that many local employers do not see or appreciate the skills and experience that our ex-regulars bring into the economy and hence do not give our ex-regulars the opportunity to prove themselves. “

Citing anecdoctal evidence, Justin explains that the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment in which regulars constantly train and operate in, provide valuable experience that many employees in the private sector are simply not exposed to.  This experience in turn enables ex-regulars to excel in almost any new job they undertake.  Justin has therefore established the Network as a platform to enable ex-regulars to help each other get that all important first opportunity.
