Joining Wockhardt Hospitals as Senior Consultant – Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery, Dr.Krishnan’s expertise in the fields of Coronary Artery Surgery (CABG / Bypass Surgery), Mitral Valve Repairs, Congential Heart Diseases (Peadiatric Heart Surgery), Lung Surgery & Vascular Surgery will now be available to the patients at Wockhardt.

After completing his MS (General Surgery) from Coimbatore Medical College, Dr. Krishnan completed his MCh from Madras Medical College. After a humble beginning, Dr. Krishnan went on to command positions like Assistant Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, Registrar in Cardio Thoracic Surgery Department, Chief Cardiac Surgeon & Head of Department at other leading hospitals in India & abroad. In his last assignment, Dr. Krishnan was an Associate Professor for Cardio Thoracic Surgery & the Head of Department of Cardio Thoracic Surgery at one of India’s leading Medical Science Institute.

In his 22 year career, Dr. Krishnan has successfully handled a wide array of cases specially in areas of Congenital Heart Diseases and complications like performing heart surgeries on infants weighing just 2.8 kgs.
