Invata Intralogistics Names Edward Schuler Senior Account Executive

July 13, 2011 - PRLog -- CANTON, CONNECTICUT – July 13, 2011 – Invata Intralogistics, Inc., a global provider of supply chain and facilities optimization, software and controls, today announced that Edward Schuler has been named Senior Account Executive. In his new role, Mr. Schuler will be responsible for new business development of supply chain optimization services and facility automation systems - with an emphasis on the integration of Invata’s in-house software suite and ERP integration middleware.

Mr. Schuler has over 34 years experience in the supply chain and logistics industry. As Manager of Facilities Planning at Wang Laboratories – a major computer company that, at its peak, had annual revenues of $3 billion and more than 30,000 employees – Mr. Schuler was responsible for the design of manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide, in Puerto Rico, Taiwan and Ireland, as well as domestic facilities in Massachusetts.

Later, as Vice President of Sales at Creative Handling Systems, Mr. Schuler managed sales and application engineering, achieving explosive growth of automated material handling systems for the northeast-based system integrator. Following that, he formed Automation Concepts, a successful material handling solution provider that served Fortune 1000 clients located throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
