June 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Laser Tag has been a popular complimentary attraction in bowling facilities across the country due to its proven revenue stream and popularity with kids and adults of all ages.  The trend for many bowling centers has been an evolutionary one as they are looking to rebrand themselves into multi-attraction family entertainment centers to capture additional market share.  Brunswick, one of the leading companies in bowling, clearly recognized this trend early on and has been designing and building these types of hybrid bowling centers for awhile now.  Recently they called upon the laser tag experts, Creative Works, to help them transform two of their laser tag locations and build them another in a brand new center.

As partners from prior projects, Brunswick has always been at the forefront of offering a great entertainment attraction.  When it comes to laser tag, the experience has been nothing short of spectacular according to many who frequent their facilities around the country.  “When a kid walks into one of our arenas, they think they’re walking into a real life video game,” says Jeff Schilling of Creative Works.  “All of our arenas are built to compete with the home-based video games and to provide an experience unlike anything else in the market.”  The new Brunswick projects were no exception.  After traveling to see first-hand one of Creative Works’ new arena themes called Earth Quest, this was the one chosen to go into all three projects.

Traveling to locations in Colorado, Pennsylvania and Georgia, the Creative Works Theme Team created arenas that some describe as scenes straight out of the blockbuster Avatar Movie.  Each of the arena fields are filled with fluorescent plants, brightly colored insects, giant twisting trees and more.  Guests will find themselves in the midst of all this vegetation while ducking behind metallic-like barriers and searching for the Battle Droids that tower above the players.  Towards the center of the arena, a specially built prop called the Energy Pulse Generator flashes with spinning lights while acting as a landmark for players to regroup and search out others as they play laser tag.

“We are happy to have partnered with a great company who has seen firsthand the benefits of creating an immersive environment for their guests,” commented Schilling.  “They understand the importance of creating a memorable environment and as a result have seen the benefits to their bottom line.”
