Stancliffe Stone Seminar Program 2011

June 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Throughout the year Stancliffe run a series of visits to our quarries and processing works and stage road shows across the UK. These events feature RIBA approved CPD and always include independent guest speakers.

Our aim is to provide architects, specifies, contractors and planners with first hand information on the intelligent use of British dimensional, sandstones and limestone’s in the built environment.

A recent open day at Locharbriggs Quarry, Dumfries Scotland, provided a group of architects and Directors from Historic Scotland with an informative insight into today’s dimensional stone business including: quarrying management, masonry processing, and design opportunity using British Natural Sandstones.
