   Greiner Bio One Announces Green Certification from the GBB!

   Greiner Bio-One North America, Inc. would like to announce its certification by the Green Business Bureau (GBB) as a Green Aware Business. This certification signifies that Greiner Bio One has taken steps to promote and complete green initiatives such as cardboard and plastic recycling programs, efficient packing materials to reduce waste, and energy efficient lighting in warehouse and corporate office facilities located in Monroe, North Carolina.

   Greiner Bio One will continue to implement its green initiatives with the establishment of a Green Committee that will create, promote and enforce programs throughout the company. The summer months will constitute such initiatives as the installation and use of economizers which use fresh air to cool the facilities instead of air conditioning and using chemicals that are biodegradable for cleaning.

   The Green Business Bureau is a private organization that assists businesses with implementation of eco-friendly practices to increase sustainability and the impact on the environment. The GBB also provides certification at various levels to those businesses that have successfully impacted the environment positively through green initiatives.
