Local Music Artists Come Together To Celebrate “UNITY”

June 11, 2011 - PRLog -- To conclude the celebration of THE LOWKEYS group member JM (Just Me)’s birthday extravaganza, Heat.Wav Records decided to invite some talented individuals to celebrate unity through music at the 818 Lounge in Glendale, CA. Non-profit organization OptionX will be co-hosting the June 18th event.

Artists like JM (Just Me) believe that through music you can unite millions of people. The efforts of artists uniting and supporting each other as musicians will also aid in the movement to keep good music alive. 818 Lounge owner, Sean Chu, did not hold back when offered to host JM’s birthday celebration. Chu had the opportunity of having THE LOWKEYS perform at his venue last month, so he knew the artists associated with the award-winning group would be nothing less than amazing.

The special celebration will take place Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the 818 Lounge, 3710 North Verdugo Road Glendale, CA 91020. Model Lola B and comedian Prophit Pan will be the host of the night. This will be a 21 and over event with doors opening at 9pm. You will be able to experience the following artists at the UNITY Tribute Concert:

Noa James is a member of Black Cloud Music; an independent Inland Empire based music label. James has rocked stages all over the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas areas. Noa was blessed to be a part of Paid Dues 2011 in which thousands witnessed his passion for music. His EP “Intellegent, Elegant, Elephant: Humble Power”  is now available to the public.

PROVOCATIVE ENT. Recording Artist, THE BEATBULLYS, are a Southern California based Hip Hop Group. BeatBully Group members BNews, Kree, & OsamaBinRappin, started “bullying” the Mic together in the Spring of 2009. They are set to release their debut mixtape (Title TBA) to the masses late June!
