Kinnelon Public Library Announces New Library Board of Trustees Member
Kinnelon, NJ – The Kinnelon Public Library announces the appointment of Christine B. Whittemore of Simple Marketing Now LLC to serve as member of the Kinnelon Library Board of Trustees. Whittemore fills a term which expires on June 30th, 2015.
Whittemore joins Anne Arnowitz, Chuck Haller, Anne Vosatka, Linda Farmer as well as former Kinnelon mayor Glenn Sisco – appointed to serve instead of mayor Collins – and Jim Opiekun, Kinnelon superintendent of schools.
“We are very pleased about Christine joining the Kinnelon Library Board of Trustees,” says Barbara Owens, director, Kinnelon Public Library. “She brings an appreciation for the role the library plays in the Kinnelon community as well as expertise in using social media marketing to connect with and promote relevant news to our community.”
Whittemore, a resident of Kinnelon since 2004 and author of the Smoke Rise and Kinnelon Blog which she launched in July 2008, has been immersed in social media since 2006 – personally, for a brand and for her business. She is the author of Flooring The Consumer – a highly acclaimed weblog about the customer retail experience and marketing to women and an AdAge Power 150 Marketing Blog. She also writes the Simple Marketing Blog, a Junta42 Top 42 Content Marketing Blog and contributes to MarketingProfs, the Content Marketing Institute and a Hearst publication.
