Arturo Ayon, CTO of PREE, Attends the DTIP Conference

May 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Earlier this month, PREE's Chief Technology Officer traveled to Aix-en-Provence, France to again participate in the DTIP Conference.  The conference is a unique, yearly symposium on the design, testing, integration, and packaging of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS).  MEMS are an important component in wireless technologies and technology development.  The goal of the symposium is to provide a forum for in-depth investigations and interdisciplinary discussions involving design, modeling, testing, micromachining, microfabrication, integration and packaging of structures, devices, and systems.  Dr. Ayon was a sponsored representative of the University of Texas at San Antonio.

At this year's symposium, Dr. Ayon served on the Program Committee for the CAD, Design, and Test Conference session and served as the Conference Chair at the Compact and Behavioral Modeling session. He also presented along side several other distinguished individuals and was on the panel for Textile Microsystems, contributing to the discussions on piezoelectric charging for smart fabric applications. among others.  Dr. Ayon has been asked to return next year and serve as Conference Chair for the DTIP Conference.
