Boulder Soup Works Expands Distribution With Whole Foods Market

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- (Boulder, CO) - Boulder Soup Works, the fresh organic soup company, today announced that it has begun distribution to Whole Foods Markets in California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The combined 72 stores in the Northern California, Pacific Northwest and Southwest regions now offer customers premium, healthy soup in the prepared foods case. This expansion brings to a total of 100 Whole Foods stores now selling the Boulder Soup Works line of fresh, organic and gluten-free soup.

"Our premium line of fresh, organic and gluten-free soup has experienced tremendous growth at Whole Foods since our launch at the Pearl Street store in Boulder in 2009, and we are very excited to bring fresh soup to customers in the southern plains and along the Pacific coast."

Started by a trio of passionate soup fans who grew tired of the same old canned varieties and dry mixes, Boulder Soup Works is on a mission to bring back fresh soup hand-crafted in small batches. Using local ingredients and custom bases, every kettle of soup is prepared with care and is naturally gluten-free.

Boulder Soup Works offers seven varieties of fresh soup in 24oz containers with vegan, vegetarian and dairy-free options. Current soup varieties include Roasted Tomato Basil, Red Lentil Dahl, Garden Minestrone, Potato Leek, Carrot Ginger with Coconut, White Bean with Tomato and Green Pea with Dill. The soup retails for $7.99 per tub at all Whole Foods locations.
