Victoria Starr says there's "No One Else Like You"

Victoria Starr is a solo artist who has been performing at theatre shows in New York City.  She began her singing career as a young child in chorus, drama and band in the public school system.   Further training in voice and drama and her piano and flute training gave Victoria the ammunition needed to create dynamic music.

Her debut release of her single “No One Else Like You” became her creative essence – her signature sound.  This song is about a person that is in love and finds someone that is a unique individual and how hard it would be to set them free.  It is representative of the story lines and style of music Victoria writes about.  She writes songs that people can relate to – about love, forgiveness, needs and hurt – emotions, life experiences.    It has a strong melody and a nice clean beat.  It is radio friendly and memorable.  Victoria is layering her vocals on this single and the effects are glorious.  I’m sure we can look forward to more creative and delightful music from her soon.  

Victoria Starr’s resume’ is quite impressive.  She has sung in shows such as “The Broadway Review” in a boat show for the dragon boat races on the Hudson River.  She has also sung to children’s hospitals in Manhattan with the band, Steve Marshall and the Deputies who are highly respected musicians.  Victoria has also worked on television, films and theater and has made appearances in many shows and films.  She also appeared on a commercial this past holiday on a Starbucks Holiday commercial.  More on where she has appeared can be viewed at www.castingnetworks.com/vstarr.  

“No One Else Like You” was picked up as an indie single by www.cdbaby.com  which began to sell on Amazon.  It is also available at most digital storefronts including but not limited to www.jango.com.  

She is currently working with Electrichead Co. collaborating with her to create a video for this song.  It is a Screen Actors Guild music video which features her as the principal singer and includes Steve Marshall on Guitar, David Lee Russek on Bass, Mike Elbrecht on drums, Laura Salinger, a Manhattan based film and TV actress along with a young up and coming actor by the name of Dylan Rhyder as the music technician.  It is in the style of an MTV unplugged tune being cut “for real”.
