Less than three weeks left to vote in the first ever INAA.com Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards 2011

May 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Originally voting was intended to close on the 20th May, however with the upsurge in interest from salons all over Scotland and growing support for the Facebook campaign (1), nomination time has been extended to ensure that all salons are fairly represented.  

The mounting anticipation for the Awards ceremony guarantees that it is going to exceed all expectations and even though this year marks its introduction, the excitement surrounding the event ensures that it is set to become an important date in any salons calendar.  Angie Bennett, Head of Communications for the Oceanic Group (the event organiser) (2) said “The INAA.com Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards 2011 are all about awarding the talented people who so faithfully contribute to making us Scots ‘Bonnie’ in a fun filled night especially for them.” The Scottish hair industry alone has around 3,500 businesses that all contribute to a massive turnover of £500 million (3) and this is growing at an unprecedented rate.  Therefore the time has come to honour the hard working employees who truly are specialist within their trade.  

Reaction to the event has been exceptional and the decision was made to allocate more time to allow for votes to be cast in the numerous categories. So if you haven’t had the chance to have your say in selecting the cream of the crop of Scotland’s hair and beauty industry, now is the time!
