Individual and business candidates are being sought in the following nine categories: Young Achievement Award, Small Business of the Year, Franchisee of the Year, Business of the Year, the Community Award, Businessman of the Year, Businesswoman of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

The winners will be recognised at the annual awards ceremony, taking place on the November 23rd at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow. The glamorous black tie event celebrates the fortitude, resilience and innovation of individuals and businesses.

Yasmin Mahmood, Business Development Manager with Event Organisers Oceanic Consulting said: “The Scottish Asian Business Awards provide the opportunity for the top entrepreneurs from the Asian business community in Scotland to be recognised and for others to be inspired by their achievements. Since 2006 the Awards have captured the multi-cultural spirit of Scotland and highlight the talent and achievements of those who are pioneers in the industry.

“Thanks to the entrepreneurs that have graced the finalist shortlists and the winners’ podium the reputation of the awards has flourished; each year the competition intensifies and I once again look forward to meeting the nominees of the highest caliber.”
