How do I know if I have bed bugs?

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Though many companies offer free inspections, it is important to understand that not all bed bug inspections are the same.  The most common and flawed technique is to search for bed bugs visually.  The problem with this method is that the inspector is not actually looking for bed bugs.  They are looking for fecals spots, droppings, and eggs.

Fecal spots are tiny black dots about the size of a pen drop.  If you have ever looked closely at your bed or under the couch cushions everything looks like tiny black dots.  When your furniture is not white, the challenge to find this symptom is significantly more challenging if not impossible.
