Bed Bug Dog "Henry" travels to Columbus, Ohio

In the battle against bed bugs, some states have it worse than others. Unfortunately Ohio is one of those states. Inspector Hound sends a scent detection canine to investigate first hand.

May 20, 2011 - PRLog -- As Louisiana’s Premier Canine Inspection Service - Inspector Hound constantly pushes the boundaries in this evolving industry.  "With so many new and inexperienced companies offering canine bed bug inspections, it is critical that Inspector Hound stand above the rest.  Sending Henry into the heart of American's bed bug problem will provide him invaluable experience."  said Clif Tomasini President of Inspector Hound.

Since initiating my business in 2010, we have made many friends across the country.  One such friend and affiliate of Inspector Hound invited us to take part in a large "Green" project aimed at providing relief to Columbus, Ohio's lowest income residents.  "We look forward to joining forces with our friends in Ohio and providing relief to the people there.  As a Louisiana person myself, I understand first hand the power of helping others.", said Tomasini.

After traveling to Ohio, we will make our way to Pennsylvania where Henry is scheduled to take NESDCA (National Entomology and Scent Detection Canine Association), WDDO (World Detector Dog Organization), and IBBMA (Integrated Bed Bug Management Association) certifications.  Each of these organizations follows NPMA Best Practices (National Pest Management Association) for scent detection canines.

Independent of pest control services, Inspector Hound does not profit from positive alerts.  In other words, we have no incentive to falsely alert with our canines.  When dogs are owned by Pest Control companies, the handler is often pressured into training a hypersensitive dog.  Hypersensitive dogs often find bed bugs that don't exist or more commonly they alert to dead bed bugs.  Either way, these conditions can generate negative outcomes.

Whether you operate a hotel, apartment, rental, restaurant, theatre, church, retail business or pest control company, Inspector Hound is your partner in the battle against bed bugs.  Unlike traditional pest control, Inspector Hound only offers canine scent detection.  We are the best, because this is all we do!
