April 25, 2011 - PRLog -- A few days ago, on the theme of "Low Carbon Economy", our general manager Mr. Wu Feng accepted reporter's interview from Bao’an Daily News. Shenzhen Spark Optoelectronics S&T Co., Ltd. established in March 2000, is Shenzhen Top Brand and National Hi-tech enterprise which specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing of LED products.

We design and manufacture LED products ranging from High Power LED Street Light, High Power LED Tunnel Light, LED Traffic Light, LED Tube Light to other LED indoor lighting products and is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of LED lighting and solar lighting products in China.  

In March, the agenda of Mr. Wu, general manager of Spark, is much busier as meeting with clients, go abroad for investigation, cooperate negotiation and participating in the formulating of the industry standard as a member of the panel etc. Although busy, Mr. Wu is fully filled with joy. With independent innovation and its “Spark” brand strength, the company’s output achieved several times more in growth last year, and is hopeful to grow faster this year.

And our company also pays special attention to the combination of LED and ecological agriculture, its newly developed LED Plant Grow Light adopts international leading semiconductor lighting principle, it is the high end technology product which is specially designed for the production of flowers and vegetables.

Through the needed illumination spectrum for plant growth LED lamp, it not only can promote its growth, and can extend the flowering period to improve fruit quality, to ensure the taste of greenhouse vegetables, but also can achieve in-season cultivation.

Nowadays our company's marketing network has covered Europe, America, Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Japan, South Korea and other countries and areas, meanwhile in China it also shares the leading market domestically.

Using Energy Management Contracting mode to power the development of LED

LED tends to be more and more popular in the TV backlight application. How to handle the trend of industry and lead company in the competition? Our reporter interviewed Mr. Wu Feng, GM of SPARK Optoelectronics Science and Technology Co., Ltd., March 16.

Reporter: Which word would you think best to summarize the development of LED industry and SPARK Company last year?

Mr. Wu: For the last year, I think you can summarize it by “recognition”. First of all, LED industry was highly pushed by the Chinese government. In 2010, the National "Ten Cities, ten thousand LED lights" and “Green City” Projects developed a lot. The National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of housing construction, the Ministry of communications also united to promote LED lighting application demonstration project. It is the first time for Chinese government to promote LED lighting application by tender.  LED application market in China gradually matured with the help of these positive policies.

Secondly, the company's products are identified. SPARK has always been an experienced exporter in LED lighting. SPARK attaches great importance to the international technical standards. We took the lead to develop LED lighting products company standards. SPARK product quality and performance have reached the international leading level. We succeeded to get the export allowance of major overseas markets, well resolving the technical barriers and other trade protection measures.

Therefore, the LED corporations are recognized by the communities. The core technology of LED lighting was broken through by our Spark. Now we own more than 50 independent intellectual property rights and bear two important projects of scientific and technological on the level of the provincial and ministerial: high power LED street lamps, LED tunnel lamps, LED tube light won the title of "independent innovation products in Shenzhen City", "independent innovation products in Guangdong Province" and "high-tech products in Guangdong Province". And our company won the award of "Shenzhen Enterprise New Record", "a new record company in Guangdong Province” and was recommended by Government in 2010 as the private enterprises in Museum of Shanghai World Expo to the world.

We won the bid the National Semiconductor lighting demonstration project which organized by the three ministries of National Development and Reform Commission etc soon before. At the same time our Spark has also been awarded as "Shenzhen Top brand", the unique selected enterprise in the LED lighting.

Reporter: As the LED industry leader, what is the most reasonable promotion model do you think for China LED enterprise?  What is your development plan this year?

Mr. Wu: I really agree the business model of "Energy Management Contracting". This model operate in this way: The energy-saving service company sign the Energy Service Contract with the enterprise, offer a whole set of service include energy audit, project design, project financing, equipment procurement, engineering construction, equipment installation, training and economic benefit calculation from energy saving. And Energy Service Company recover the investment and make profit from the economic benefit from energy saving.

For the future development of the enterprise, Spark goal is "light green life". Our company will keep close to the market in 2011 to devote ourselves to make our company a Top LED enterprise integrated by R&D, production and sales and build a National Top Brand for LED products including LED street lights, LED tunnel lights, LED High Bay, LED Traffic Light and other LED Indoor and Commercial Lights.

We will enhance our innovation for LED application technology and marketing promotion, trying to advance the overall level of LED lighting technology, expand market share and contribute in pushing forward the continuous, healthy and rapid development of China LED lighting industry.
