Spark Optoelectronics: China’s Export Amount of LED Lighting Products in First Three Quarters 2014

SHENZHEN, China - Nov. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- According to the statistics analysis of export data from the Custom, in first three quarters 2014, China’s exports amount of LED lighting (http://www.spark-oe.com/) products has reached to almost 7 billion dollars, and the growth year-on-year is up to 101%. The amount of exports in Q3 is 2.63 billion dollars, growing 88% compared to the same period last year.

Getting information from the “Innovation Centre of Semi-conductor Lighting Industrial Guangdong”, the total output value of LED industrials reaches to more than 41.6 billion dollars, growing year-on-year 28%. Also, last year Guangdong’s LED output value exceeds 60% of the whole country, and is 25% of the world output value.

Since 2008 the government of Guangdong Province has regarded LED industrial as the strategic emerging industrial. At present, LED industrials in Guangdong Province keep leading status in those aspects, including packaging and producing technology, system R&D of MOCVD, new product development, standard optical components, formulating product standard, patented technology and industrial scale. And up to the first three quarters 2014 the number of LED patent grants is 67,391 units and ranks first in China.
